Making our way nicely through my alphabet bakes series!

This one is a super simple treat that is sure to go down well with kids and big kids!!

Which would you choose...white or milk chocolate?

INGREDIENTS…

Makes 30-40 bite size truffles

300g Oreos (2 packets)

150g full fat cream cheese

1 tosp vanilla extract

For coating:

150g white chocolate

150g milk chocolate

(Or you can just use 300g of your fave)

Extra Oreo crumbs

INSTRUCTIONS…

Put the Oreos into a large food bag. Crush with a rolling pin until they are really fine crumbs (or use a food processor).

In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese and vanilla extract together. Add the Oreo crumbs and stir well to combine.

Take a teaspoon of mixture at a time and roll into a ball using the palms of your hands. Place each ball onto a sheet of baking paper on a plate or tray that fits into your fridge. Set in the fridge to chill for an hour (or longer).

Melt the chocolate for decoration in 30 second intervals in the microwave so the chocolate doesn't burn.

Dip each truffle into the chocolate using a fork.

Let the excess drip off and set back onto the baking paper. Set back in the fridge to chill for at least 3 hours or overnight.

These will keep in the fridge for up to a week.
