Two men critically injured after BMW collides with pillar

Two men remain in hospital with critical injuries following a serious road traffic collision in Downpatrick on Friday night.
Police have confirmed they attended the scene of a one-vehicle crash on 12 September after receiving reports shortly after 10pm.
The incident happened when a silver BMW collided with a stone pillar on the Ardglass Road.
A PSNI spokesperson said:
“Two men, the driver and passenger, were injured and taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment to their injuries which are described as critical.”
Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
“Anyone with information, including dash-cam or other video footage, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1629 12/09/25.”
