Travel advice for those attending School’s Cup Final match between Ballymena Academy and RBAI

Police are advising fans travelling to the Danske Bank School’s Cup Final match between RBAI and Ballymena Academy at the Kingspan Stadium on Monday 18th March, to leave extra travel time for your journey.


A PSNI spokesperson commented:

 

"Entry to the ground for fans will be via the Onslow Parade and Mount Merrion Avenue turnstiles. If you are driving to the match, which has a 3.00pm kick off, please park with consideration for the local residents and businesses.

"Road closures are in effect in the immediate area around the stadium.

 

"Please check Ulster Rugby social media channels and website for parking information.

 

"Traffic disruption is expected due to the large number of supporters attending the fixture, so please plan ahead and leave extra time for your journey.

 

"We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable afternoon."



Match stadium seating allocation

Ballymena Academy pupils will be facilitated in the Family Stand for the Schools' Cup Final on March 18th. Therefore, the school is encouraging all parents, past pupils and friends of the school to purchase tickets for that end of the Grandstand or Promenade - See highlighted image above.
