Speaking about the podcast, Co-host and The Shona Project Founder, Tammy Darcy said:

“We have met over 100,000 girls through our work in schools around the country. We have heard their stories but we’re also approached all the time by parents who want to support and empower their daughters. There's no manual out there, unfortunately, so myself and Alison are creating this podcast to support parents, including ourselves!”

Alison Curtis, Co-host and TodayFM Presenter said:

“I was thrilled when Tammy first mentioned the idea of doing The Shona Project Podcast. I’m really passionate about empowering young girls and women, to thrive in modern-day society and to feel happy and confident during their teenage years.”
