Plans for a dwelling at a former Scout Hall have been submitted to Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.

The recently-submitted plans seek permission to convert the Scout Hall at 10 Market Street in Ballycastle, providing a new residential development which will “create a quality and sustainable residential environment”, an accompanying Design and Access Statement said.

The statement added:

“The development involves minimal changes to the external appearance of the building, [and] therefore respects the character of the surrounding area.

“The proposed will make use of the existing vehicular access from Moyle Road with the existing yard being utilised as amenity space.
