Children dressed up for Halloween can enjoy a free meal at all 205 Asda Cafés nationwide on 31 October – with no adult spend required.
This Halloween, families across the UK can look forward to a treat that won’t scare their wallets. On Friday 31 October, Asda is inviting children in fancy dress to eat for free in any of its 205 cafés nationwide, as part of its popular Kids Eat for £1 initiative.
The offer coincides with half-term week, providing much-needed relief for parents juggling school holidays with rising living costs.
With families across the UK expected to spend £779 million on Halloween celebrations this year – an average of £26 per person – Asda’s offer comes as a welcome boost for families trying to make the most of the spooky season without the financial fright.
The Kids Eat for £1 initiative, first launched in June 2022, has already provided over six million meals to children under 16. The deal continues throughout half term, offering families an easy, affordable way to dine out.
There’s no minimum spend and no adult meal purchase required – simply turn up with your little monster in costume to claim a free meal from the children’s menu.
Meals Fit for Little Monsters
Young diners can choose from nine different options, including hot favourites such as chicken nuggets, fish fingers, penne pasta, and pizza, or go for the cold Pick & Mix selection, which includes a sandwich, drink, fruit, and sweet treat.
“Asda’s Halloween offer is designed to make the season special for families,” said Jordan Cummings, Buying Manager, Cafes and Concessions at Asda.
“Halloween should be about fun, not financial fright. With Halloween falling in half term this year, we’re proud to help families celebrate without breaking the bank – from free meals for kids in costume to great value across the store, including fun outfits from George.”
A Spooktacular One-Stop Shop
Beyond the cafés, Asda has everything needed for a budget-friendly Halloween celebration. From party snacks and decorations to pumpkins starting at just 42p, shoppers can find everything under one roof.
For those still searching for the perfect costume, George at Asda has a wide range of Halloween outfits starting from £8, including witches, ghosts, vampires and more.
Whether it’s dining in style or dressing up to scare, Asda promises to make this Halloween both fun and affordable.
