Translink is reminding passengers that summer timetables have come into effect from Tuesday 1st July, in line with the school holidays.

The changes apply to Ulsterbus, Goldliner, Metro/Glider and Foyle Metro services, with customers advised to check updated schedules before travelling.

In addition, Translink has confirmed special service arrangements for the upcoming July Bank Holiday weekend, affecting both bus and train services on Saturday 12th July and Monday 14th July.

For local bus services, Metro, Glider, Ulsterbus, and Goldliner will operate weekend or holiday schedules, and travellers should confirm details for their specific route ahead of time.

Train services will also be affected:

  • Enterprise cross-border service will operate a normal timetable on Saturday 12th July, and a Saturday timetable on Monday 14th July.

  • NI Railways will run regular schedules on Saturday 12th July, with a revised weekday timetable in place from Monday 14th to Friday 18th July.

Due to road closures and traffic restrictions in Belfast on Saturday 12th July, some Metro/Glider, Ulsterbus, and Goldliner services will see temporary changes to routes and bus stops. Translink urges all passengers to check for updates in advance at www.translink.co.uk/service-updates.
