Templepatrick burglary: Detectives appeal for CCTV after home ransacked

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and footage after a house in Templepatrick was broken into, damaged and ransacked on Monday afternoon.

Police received a report at around 4.50pm on Monday 24 August following the burglary in the Old Coach Road area.

Entry forced into house

Detectives believe entry was forced into the property shortly after 4pm, causing damage to a door and windows.

A number of rooms and cupboards inside the house had also been ransacked.

Detective Sergeant Ash said:

“At approximately 4.50pm, police received a report of a burglary in the Old Coach Road area.

“It is believed that shortly after 4pm entry was forced into the house causing damage to a door and windows. A number of rooms and cupboards had also been ransacked.

Appeal for witnesses and footage

“I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anyone suspicious in the area or to anyone who may have CCTV, doorbell or other footage that could assist with enquiries, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 1166 24/08/26.”
