PureGym, the UK’s largest gym operator, was delighted to be open its brand new gym in Ballymena last week – it’s first new gym in Northern Ireland since 2018.
The opening of the UK’s favourite gym is focussed on offering flexible, affordable fitness to the people of Ballymena and the surrounding areas through PureGym’s flagship low cost, zero contract memberships.

The opening was celebrated on Tuesday 16th May with local heroes from the Ballymena Community Rescue Service (CRS) cutting the ribbon to declare the gym officially open, as well as a performance from talented local break-dancers Ross and Ben Dance.
"It was wonderful to celebrate with the local community and we are delighted to be able to provide the people of Ballymena and surrounding communities with access to low-cost, high-quality fitness facilities to help support their physical and mental wellbeing.
