Prime Video to premiere exclusive behind-the-scenes series on Spain’s World Cup triumph

Prime Video will give football fans an inside look at Spain’s latest World Cup success later this year with an exclusive four-part documentary series charting the national team’s journey to lifting the trophy.

The streaming service has confirmed the docuseries will launch worldwide before the end of the year, offering unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to the squad that secured Spain’s second World Cup title after defeating Argentina in the final in New Jersey.

Featuring never-before-seen footage alongside interviews with players and coaching staff, the series promises to reveal what happened away from the cameras during the 52-day tournament campaign.

Rather than focusing solely on the action on the pitch, the documentary explores the relationships, pressure and preparation behind Spain’s success, following a squad of 26 players and their coaching staff as they navigated the highs and lows of a tournament-winning campaign.

According to Prime Video, viewers will see moments of celebration, tension, determination and humour that helped shape a team whose triumph was built on both talent and a strong collective spirit.

The series has been produced by the Real Federación Española de Fútbol (RFEF) in collaboration with Telefónica Broadcast Services (TBS).

It is the latest in a growing collection of Spanish national team documentaries available on Prime Video and marks the seventh project created through the partnership between the streaming platform and the RFEF.

Previous titles include El sabio del éxito, La Quinta de la quinta, La fuerza del grupo, 10 años de la primera estrella, La Copa de todos and Un equipo llamado España.

The new docuseries will be included with a Prime membership and is expected to premiere globally before the end of 2026. An exact release date has not yet been announced.
