Claudia Jaczyk, 23, sadly died in a road traffic collision in County Antrim


Claudia Jaczyk, 23, from the Newtownabbey area, has been named as the woman who died following a collision involving a bus and a car on the Ballyrobin Road in Templepatrick on Saturday, February 14.


The Police Service of Northern Ireland confirmed the young woman’s identity as enquiries continue into the fatal crash, which occurred on the busy route near Belfast International Airport.



The collision involved a bus and a car. Emergency services attended the scene, where the 23-year-old was pronounced dead.


Her death has left family, friends and the wider community in shock, with police continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.



Road reopened after closures


Diversions which were in place following the collision have since been lifted and the Ballyrobin Road has reopened to traffic.


Police appeal continues


Enquiries remain ongoing and police are continuing to appeal for information.
