Missing man: 43-year-old Stephen McCord


Police and family members are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of 43-year-old Stephen McCord, who has been reported missing from the Coleraine area.


Stephen was last seen at around 6.30pm on Sunday, 5th October, in the Bushmills Road area of Coleraine.


It is believed that Stephen did not take many personal belongings with him, heightening concern for his safety.



He is described as 5 ft 10 ins tall, of slim build, with blue eyes, ginger hair, and a beard. Stephen is also said to be balding and has a tattoo of a rose on his hand. When last seen, it is believed he was wearing dark-coloured jogging bottoms and a fleece.


Police are urging anyone with information about Stephen’s whereabouts to come forward.



A spokesperson for the PSNI said:


“Anyone who may have seen Stephen or who might know of his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 248 of 08/10/25.”


The appeal comes as officers continue to conduct local enquiries and searches in the Coleraine area.


Members of the public are encouraged to check dashcam or CCTV footage if they were in the Bushmills Road or surrounding areas around the time Stephen was last seen.
