The excitement is building, with work continuing at pace, as Nellie's Daycare prepares to open it's brand new facility in Ballymena this month.
Although Nellie's Daycare is new to the town, they have successfully established their reputation for providing safe and nuturing environments for little ones in their other two Mid Ulster daycare facilities. This latest expansion is testimony to the success of Nellie's, backed by the confidence and trust of parents who have come to depend on the services provided.
Nellies Daycare was formed in June 2021 by Moneymore husband and wife team Samantha and Richard Ferson. Samantha explained:
"Two years ago I was working for my then employer Kidd-Z-Play, based at Rainey Street in Magherafelt, when an opportunity arose to buy the nursery from the owners. I jumped at it and have never looked back since.
"Soon after we moved the nursery to Queens Avenue in Magherafelt when a new facility came on the market. We knew we would be able to adapt it to create a better environment for both kids and parents alike."

Going from strength to strength, the couple also opened Nellies Daycare in Moneymore, in September 2022.
"This was a phased opening with the afterschools opening first," said Samantha. "We opened the last of the rooms in April this year."
For Samantha and Richard, Nellie's Daycare Ballymena represents their latest venture in business, and a confident investment in their passion to deliver quality care provision for children, with the help of their professional and dedicated team of staff.
In the middle of an exciting time of growth for Nellie's Daycare, Samantha and Richard were approached to look at a property on Fenaghy Road, Galgorm, with a view to opening a daycare facility.
"We thought the location and layout of the building would be perfect for our needs," continued Samantha.
"Over the last weeks we have created large, bright, airy rooms which we think the kids will really enjoy spending time in. We also have a large public play area right behind the building which we will be taking full advantage of with the kids. We have worked to provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment for all the children in our care."

Nellie's Ballymena will provide full daycare facilities for all children aged from 8 weeks to 12 years old. The convieniently located new Galgorm-based facility includes:
• Baby room offering full daycare facilities and capable of catering for 12 children per day
• Toddler room offering full daycare facilities capable of catering for 20 children per day
• Pre-School room capable of catering for 22 children per day. Pick up and drop off will be available from all local nurseries
• Afterschools room capable of catering for 30 children per day. Breakfast Club, school drop off and pick up will be available for all local schools.
Samantha concluded:
"We can't wait to get the building open and meet the new children and parents. Now that the builders have finished the fitout (Kudos to JFM construction Ltd for the great job), and we can fully envision how everything will look and feel, we are really excited to get open and let everyone see what we can offer!"
Nellie's Daycare Ballymena is hoping to be fully opened from Monday 21 August.
