Motorcyclist critically injured following collision in Co Fermanagh

A motorcyclist remains in a critical condition in hospital following a single-vehicle collision in Lisnaskea on Friday evening.


Police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage following the collision, which involved a black Suzuki motorcycle in the Lisnaskea Road area shortly after 9pm on Friday, 7 August.



Rider remains critically ill


Inspector Brian St Ledger said:


“A report was received at approximately 9.05pm on Friday evening, 7th August of a collision in the Lisnaskea Road area involving a black Suzuki motorcycle.


“Officers attended the scene alongside colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.


“The rider of the motorcycle, a man aged in his 40s, was taken onward to hospital for treatment to his injuries. He remains in a critical condition at this time.


“Anyone with information, including dash-cam or other video footage, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 1518 07/08/26.”



Police appeal for footage


Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who was travelling in the Lisnaskea Road area and captured relevant dash-cam or other video footage, to come forward.
