Are you considering a career in general practice administration? A free training opportunity designed to support entry into the healthcare sector is returning to Mid & East Antrim this autumn, following a highly successful pilot earlier this year.
The Northern GP Federation Support Unit (NFSU) has confirmed that its Medical Administration Training Academy will launch its second programme in September 2025, thanks to renewed funding from Mid & East Antrim Labour Market Partnership (LMP).
The eight-week training academy, hosted at the NFSU offices in Galgorm, runs every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30am to 4:00pm, beginning on Tuesday 9th September 2025.
The initiative is aimed at supporting local adults into employment by providing practical, role-specific training that prepares participants for administrative jobs within GP surgeries and health centres.
