Two of Coleraine’s best-known names are strengthening their long-standing relationship, with The Lodge Hotel signing a new two-season partnership with Coleraine Football Club.

The family-owned hotel, part of the McKeever Hotels group, has become the Bannsiders’ Official Social Media and Hospitality Partner, building on years of support for the local football club.

The agreement will see the hotel and club work more closely on hospitality and digital activities, including The Lodge hosting Coleraine FC’s monthly podcast.

It is also intended to create new opportunities to engage with supporters and strengthen the connection between the club, local businesses and the wider Causeway Coast community.

Building on years of local support

The Lodge Hotel has supported Coleraine FC for many years, with the new agreement formalising and expanding that relationship over the next two seasons.

Tracy Young, General Manager at The Lodge Hotel, said the partnership reflects the hotel's commitment to the town and the people who support its football club.

“We’re honoured to officially mark the start our partnership with Coleraine FC and to be joining the club for the next two seasons.

“At The Lodge Hotel, warmth, hospitality and a strong sense of community are at the heart of everything we do. Coleraine is our home, so championing the people, organisations and supporters who make this town such a special place has always been incredibly important to us.

“As two of Coleraine’s best established names, the partnership felt like a really natural fit and ultimately reflects The Lodge Hotel’s continued commitment to supporting the local community.

“We’re proud to be back the Bannsiders and look forward to working closely with Jamie and the team, building on our relationship and having a bit of fun along the way.”

New opportunities for the Bannsiders

For Coleraine FC, the agreement provides an opportunity to develop its relationship with an established local hospitality business while expanding the ways it connects with supporters beyond matchdays.

The monthly club podcast will be among the activities supported through the partnership, bringing the hotel into the club’s regular digital engagement with fans.

Jamie Selfridge, Head of Business and Community at Coleraine FC, welcomed the agreement as a further step in a relationship built over many years.

“Coleraine FC and The Lodge have enjoyed a long-standing relationship over many years, and we’re thrilled to take this to the next level through this important collaboration.

“We’re excited about what the future holds and look forward to working locally with Tracy and her team at The Lodge Hotel to build a strong partnership that benefits both the club and the hotel, as well as its guests and our supporters.”

The partnership brings together two established organisations with strong connections to Coleraine, with supporters set to see the relationship develop through the club’s podcast, hospitality activities and other digital initiatives over the coming two seasons.
