Manchester United fans will get an unprecedented look behind the scenes at one of the world’s biggest football clubs after Prime Video confirmed it will follow the Red Devils throughout the 2026/27 season for the latest instalment of its hugely successful All or Nothing documentary series.

The access-all-areas production will begin filming this summer and will track Manchester United as they prepare for a return to the UEFA Champions League while attempting to build on what the club describes as an encouraging 2025/26 campaign.

The series, titled All or Nothing: Manchester United, is scheduled to launch exclusively on Prime Video in summer 2027 and will be available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Inside one of football’s biggest clubs

The documentary promises unprecedented access to one of the most recognisable names in global sport, taking viewers inside the Old Trafford dressing room, the club’s newly developed Carrington Training Complex and behind the scenes of daily life at Manchester United.

Producers say the series will document the emotional highs and lows of a season at the highest level of football as the club competes domestically and in Europe.

The project arrives at a significant moment for United, with the club returning to Europe’s elite competition and seeking to re-establish itself among the continent’s leading sides.

Manchester United’s global reach remains enormous, with the club citing a worldwide fanbase of 1.1 billion supporters and followers.

Prime Video: ‘A story we had to tell’

Tara Erer, Head of UK Film and Unscripted Television and Northern European Originals at Prime Video, said the scale and passion surrounding Manchester United made the club a natural choice for the series.

She said:

“Manchester United is more than a football club: it is a global phenomenon. All or Nothing: Manchester United was a story we had to tell.

“From Old Trafford to every corner of the world, there is no club that commands this level of passion, history and obsession. That is exactly the kind of story we want to tell, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring it to customers everywhere.”

United says fans will finally see behind the scenes

Manchester United Chief Communications Officer Toby Craig said the club believes now is the right time to offer supporters a closer look at life behind the scenes.

He said:

“Now is the right time to open our doors, so that for the first time our fans around the world can see behind the scenes of a club which means so much to so many people.

“This documentary will showcase Manchester United’s unique people, ambition and culture; from the iconic atmosphere at Old Trafford to the work that goes on behind the scenes every day at Carrington.

“We will share some of the stories of this historic club both with our fans and new audiences around the world as we compete at the highest level, both domestically and in the Champions League.”

Following in the footsteps of previous All or Nothing hits

Manchester United becomes the latest sporting giant to feature in the acclaimed All or Nothing franchise, which has previously focused on Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Toronto Maple Leafs and several NFL teams.

The series has earned a reputation for offering rare access inside elite sporting organisations, often capturing key moments, internal decision-making and the pressures faced by players, coaches and executives throughout a season.

For Manchester United supporters, the programme will provide a unique opportunity to witness life inside a club that has won 69 major trophies during its 146-year history and remains one of the most commercially powerful and globally recognised brands in sport.

Part of Prime Video’s growing sports portfolio

The documentary will join a growing line-up of sports content on Prime Video, including productions such as Rory McIlroy: The Masters Wait, Built in Birmingham: Brady & the Blues, Federer: Twelve Final Days and Kenny Dalglish.

Prime Video also holds rights to a range of major sporting events internationally, including UEFA Champions League football in the UK and Ireland.

With cameras now preparing to move into Old Trafford and Carrington, the 2026/27 season is set to become one of the most closely documented campaigns in Manchester United’s modern history.

The result will be a rare opportunity for fans around the world to see what happens beyond the matchday spotlight as one of football’s most famous clubs attempts to write its next chapter.
