Man in critical condition after Glenravel Road collision as police seek witnesses

Northern Ireland Air Ambulance in attendance at the collision on Sunday afternoon.
The Glenravel Road between Ballymena and Cushendall has reopened after being closed following a serious single-vehicle collision on Sunday afternoon (21 September).
Police said the collision was reported shortly after 3.30pm, with officers attending the scene alongside colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.
Inspector Rowntree said:
“Officers received a report shortly after 3.30pm together with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.

Emergency Service crews at the scene of the collision on Sunday near Cargan, County Antrim.

“One man has been taken to hospital, where his condition is described as critical.
“Police would appeal to any witnesses, or anyone with any dash cam or mobile phone footage, to contact them via 101, and quote reference number 929 of 21/09/25.”
Police inquiries are ongoing.
The Glenravel Road had been closed at its junctions with Rockfield Row and Ballyemon Road but has since reopened to traffic.
