An absolute traybake classic... a good Mars bar bun is hard to beat in my opinion! They’re also one of the easiest bakes ever.

INGREDIENTS…
Makes 16
150g Rice Krispies
125g unsalted butter
9 snack size Mars bars
11/2 tbsp golden syrup
300g milk chocolate (has to be Dairy milk for me!)
90g bar white chocolate
INSTRUCTIONS…
Line an 8x8 inch square tin with baking paper.
Melt the butter with the golden syrup and most of the chopped up Mars bars over a low-medium heat until most of the Mars bars melt. Leave a small amount of Mars bars to the side and add to the mixture once it's just melted (this helps to cool the mixture slightly).
Add in the Rice Krispies and mix well. Pour into the lined tin and use a potato masher to squash the mixture into the tray.
Melt the white and milk chocolate in separate bowls.
Pour over the milk chocolate and use a spoon to spread it well into the corners. While the chocolate is still melted add the white chocolate and use a skewer to feather it. You can either put the white chocolate into a piping bag or just use a spoon.
Put into the fridge for 1-2 hours to chill before cutting up into 16 squares.
