This is absolutely the easiest way to cook your Christmas ham and it is ‘deeelicious’!
This recipe is from my ebook 'Easy Christmas' - you can visit my shop by tapping here! I have a guide to adjust the cooking times depending on the size of your ham and also a guide for your turkey too.
Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS…
1 gammon roast
150ml boiling water
2 eating apples, cut into large chunks
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp Demerara sugar
INSTRUCTIONS…
1. Soak the raw gammon in cold water in the fridge overnight. I use the slow cooker insert or you could use a large saucepan. This helps to get rid of some of the excess saltiness.
2. In the morning, pour out the water and rinse the gammon. Put the gammon back into the slow cooker along with 150ml boiling water and the chopped apples.
Cook on low for 6-7 hours.
3. After this time, remove the gammon from the slow cooker and place onto a chopping board.
Cut the net off and if there is a layer of fat, cut it off too.
4. Preheat oven to 180-200 degrees fan.
5. Transfer the gammon to a baking tray. Drizzle the honey evenly over the gammon and sprinkle over the sugar.
6. Roast in the oven for 25-35 minutes or until it is golden and crispy on the top.
