The Police Service of Northern Ireland have confirmed on Monday afternoon, 26 June, that the identification process has concluded in connection with the suspected human remains discovered during the search for murder victim Chloe Mitchell.
In a short statement Detective Chief Inspector Richard Millar said:
“The identification process on human remains found in Ballymena on Sunday 11th June has now concluded and have been confirmed as those of Chloe Mitchell.”
Two men from the Ballymena area were previously charged by police and remanded into custody in connection with the young woman's murder.
