A free two-day programme designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs take their first steps into business is returning to Cushendall next week, offering a rare opportunity for local people to turn ideas into action.

Grow the Glens, in partnership with Catalyst Belfast, will host its second Hello Possible event at the Cushendall Innovation Centre on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 March.

The initiative is aimed at anyone who has ever considered starting their own business — or simply wants to explore the possibility — providing practical guidance, creative tools and a supportive environment to get started.

Turning ideas into action

Billed as a “ground-breaking pilot programme”, Hello Possible focuses on early-stage business thinking, helping participants identify problems, develop ideas and explore viable solutions.

The free workshop is open to all and will guide attendees through the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, including:

  • How to generate business ideas

  • Taking the first steps towards launching

  • What to do next after developing an idea

Organisers say the programme is designed to break down barriers and make entrepreneurship accessible, even for those who may never have previously considered it.

Beyond business basics, Hello Possible places a strong emphasis on personal development and mindset.

Participants will be encouraged to reflect on their own strengths, passions and interests, while learning how to cultivate creativity and adopt a growth mindset — key traits for any successful venture.

The programme also aims to connect like-minded individuals, creating a network of support, mentorship and future opportunities within a “friendly, safe environment”.

Limited spaces available

With demand expected to be high, organisers are urging anyone interested to secure a place as soon as possible.

The workshop is free to attend, but spaces are limited.
