Greggs new flagship shop in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter

UK food-on-the-go favourite Greggs has officially opened a new flagship shop in Belfast’s iconic Titanic Quarter, marking a significant milestone in its ambitious expansion plans across Northern Ireland.

The new outlet, which opened its doors on Saturday 31st May, is the sixth Greggs shop launched in Northern Ireland in as many months. It forms part of the company’s strategic objective to open 10 to 15 shops in the region within a year, underpinning Greggs’ wider goal of operating over 3,000 locations throughout the UK.

The flagship shop is located at UA The Arc, Titanic Quarter, BT3 9DT, and introduces a new high street presence to one of Belfast’s most visited and rapidly developing districts.

The opening has created 16 new local jobs, with Charles Moris appointed as shop manager.

It is expected to contribute to around 100 new roles across Northern Ireland as part of Greggs’ current investment strategy. Opportunities include both retail team positions and managerial roles.

Gillian Long, Retail Operations Director at Greggs, highlighted the importance of this development:

The new Titanic Quarter location offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with opening hours designed to serve early commuters and evening visitors alike:

• Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 21:00

• Saturday: 08:00 – 19:00

• Sunday: 08:00 – 18:00

Customers can expect the full range of Greggs’ much-loved menu, including the signature Sausage Roll, Steak Bake, and an expanding selection of vegan options.

Also available are refreshing cold drinks such as Cloudy Lemonade and Iced Latte, along with the “hot to go” range, featuring Southern Fried Chicken Goujons, Potato Wedges, and popular pizza slices like Margherita, Pepperoni, Spicy Mexican Chicken, Spicy Veg, and the Pepperoni Hot Shot.

Richard Henderson, Estate Manager at Titanic Quarter Limited, welcomed the opening:

This latest Belfast opening follows the launch of Greggs’ first drive-thru outlet in Northern Ireland earlier this year, located just outside the city, and represents another step in the brand’s growing Northern Irish footprint.
