Free Gabby’s Dollhouse Easter workshop coming to Dobbies stores

Families across the borough are being invited to a magical spring adventure as Dobbies Garden Centres partner with DreamWorks’ popular children’s show Gabby’s Dollhouse for a special free event next month.

The themed Little Seedlings Club workshop will take place on Saturday 4 April at Dobbies stores in Antrim and Lisburn, offering children a fun-filled hour of crafts, discovery and Easter-themed activities.

A spring adventure for young gardeners

The event will transport children into the colourful world of Gabby and her feline friends from the much-loved animated series. Each episode of the show follows Gabby and her cat companions through imaginative adventures filled with crafts, baking, music and problem-solving.

At the workshop, young participants will begin their 60-minute Easter adventure by being welcomed into the magical world of the dollhouse alongside Gabby and her kitty friends.

They will then be joined by Eggy the Easter Kitty Bunny, who will share Easter traditions from around the world before leading children on Gabby’s Easter Hunt, inspired by celebrations in Kitty Fairy’s Fairy Tail Garden.

Along the way, children will learn about seasonal themes including baby animals and the colourful flowers that bloom during spring.

Hands-on creativity

The workshop finishes with a creative activity where each child will make their own kitty or bunny planter filled with cat grass seeds – a take-home reminder of their Easter adventure.

Inspiring the next generation of gardeners

Dobbies’ Little Seedlings Club is a free workshop designed to inspire children aged four to 10 to explore gardening and the natural world.

Sessions usually take place on the first Sunday of every month at the garden centres and focus on seasonal themes designed to spark curiosity about plants, wildlife and nature.
