Extra time to save: Ballymena shops extend Discount Day offers!

Bargain hunters in Ballymena are in for an extra treat this week as a number of town centre businesses have decided to extend their Ballymena Discount Day offers for a limited time.

Following a hugely successful event, several local retailers and hospitality venues are keeping the spirit of savings alive, offering discounts, special deals, and added extras through to Saturday 8th November.

Organised by Ballymena BID (Business Improvement District), Ballymena Discount Day saw hundreds of shoppers descend on the town centre to take advantage of exclusive one-day offers.

The event, which aims to encourage people to shop local and support town centre businesses, proved so popular that many participating stores have opted to continue their deals for a few more days.

Emma McCrea, Ballymena BID Manager, said the response from businesses and shoppers alike had been “fantastic”.

“It’s been wonderful to see so many people out enjoying Ballymena town centre and supporting local traders. The feedback from businesses has been really positive – so much so that several have chosen to extend their offers for a limited time to give everyone another chance to grab a bargain.”

Extended offers across Ballymena

Among the businesses extending their offers are:

• Amen Fragrance: Buy a 100ml fragrance and get a 50ml fragrance free.

• The Blackstone Bar: Enjoy a free Copeland or Roe & Co Whiskey, or a glass of house wine, with every meal purchased (Thursday to Saturday, 12.00–7.00pm).

• Corner Bakery: Hot drink and scone for £4 – offer extended through Friday.

• Elite Lighting: At least 20% off in-store (excluding bulbs and other offers), with discounts on lighting, furniture, rugs, pictures, mirrors, and giftware.

• Fred Funk: 20% off all stock.

• GRASSMEN: In-store, 25% off everything (excluding Model Farmer) from Thursday 6th to Saturday 8th November; online, 20% off from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th November.

• McKillens of Church Street: 20% off all stock in all departments (unless previously reduced).

• Midtown Makers: 10% off until Saturday 8th November (excludes already discounted items).

• Miniso: 10% off all stock, excluding surprise bags and vinyl plush blind boxes – includes licensed ranges such as Hello Kitty, One Piece, and Care Bears.

• Moore’s Electric: Various in-store offers.

• Remus Uomo: At least 20% off all stock.

• Rituals Cosmetics: 25% off classic collection car air fresheners and car perfumes (offer can be redeemed a maximum of three times per purchase and cannot be combined with other promotions).

• Saltrock: Up to 70% off selected items while stocks last.

• Sam’s of Ballymena: 25% off everything, including Barbour, Boss, Carhartt, Belstaff, Bleubird, Fred Perry, Remus, and Benetti.

• Select Kidz: 20% off all toys until Saturday.

• The Music Rooms: Up to 50% off selected stock until Saturday 8th November.

• The Partyzone: 10% discount on all products Thursday and Friday only.

• Travelmax: Receive £10 added to all £100+ gift vouchers purchased.

• Wallace: At least 20% off all stock.

Shoppers are encouraged to make the most of the extended offers before they end, while continuing to support the local businesses that make Ballymena town centre such a vibrant shopping destination.
