Antrim Castle Gardens will once again transform into a festive wonderland this winter as the Enchanted Winter Garden returns from Friday 28 November to Tuesday 30 December 2025 — with even more magic, light and family fun than ever before.

Presented by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, this year’s event promises to be the most spectacular to date, featuring brand-new attractions, extended opening dates, and returning favourites that make it one of Northern Ireland’s most anticipated Christmas experiences.

Due to overwhelming demand, the 2025 Enchanted Winter Garden will run for an additional four nights, giving more families the opportunity to soak up the seasonal spirit throughout December and right up to just before New Year’s Eve.

Magical New Features for 2025

Make magical memories this festive season at Enchanted Winter Garden.

Visitors can look forward to a host of new and exciting features designed to make this year’s experience even more memorable.

Among the highlights is the Enchanted Tree Choir, an innovative attraction where the trees of the forest will quite literally come to life, adding a touch of musical magic to the gardens.

The funfair area has also been expanded, offering a range of new and thrilling rides for both children and adults to enjoy. Complementing the excitement will be brand-new light installations, including a captivating light show set to dazzle and delight.

Festive Favourites Return

Beloved attractions such as the Festive Food Fayre will once again tempt visitors with delicious seasonal treats, while Santa’s Grotto returns to bring festive joy to children up to 23 December.

After Christmas, Santa will make way for a mischievous visitor — The Grinch, who will take over the Grotto from 27 to 30 December, bringing laughter and a bit of festive mischief to those attending during the final days of the event.

A Magical Tradition for Families

“As an Antrim woman and a mum of two, the Enchanted Winter Garden holds a very special place in my heart. It’s a magical experience for families and a chance to make lasting memories together right here in our beautiful Antrim Castle Gardens.”

Inclusive Evenings

Continuing its commitment to accessibility, the event will once again host Inclusive Evenings on 4 and 10 December, supported by The Junction Retail and Leisure Park.
