Dobbies’ Antrim and Lisburn stores unveil magical Christmas shops with nearly 600 new products

Dobbies Garden Centres has officially opened its highly anticipated Christmas shops in Lisburn and Antrim, inviting customers to experience the sights, sounds and scents of the festive season — and the excitement is already building.

With searches for Christmas decorations on dobbies.com up 43% compared to September last year, shoppers are clearly embracing the festive spirit earlier than ever.

To mark the occasion, both stores are hosting a Christmas Launch Weekend from 9 to 13 October, giving visitors the chance to explore the full 2025 Christmas collection in-store and enjoy exclusive offers across festive décor, lights, gifts, and food ranges.

This year’s offering is the retailer’s largest and most immersive yet, featuring 590 brand new product lines, making up nearly half of Dobbies’ total festive collection.

From sparkling decorations and fresh Christmas trees to seasonal treats and family-friendly events, Dobbies promises to bring “Christmas in every sense” to Northern Ireland.

A Sensory Celebration of the Season

At Dobbies’ Lisburn and Antrim stores, shoppers can enjoy the sights, scents, and tastes of Christmas — from the aroma of pinecones and festive foliage to the glow of nearly half a million baubles and hanging decorations.

Visitors can also indulge in seasonal food and drink in Dobbies’ in-store restaurants.

• 20,000 artificial Christmas trees — stacked together, they’d reach higher than four Mount Everests.

• 135,000 boxes of string lights — with more than 30 million bulbs, enough to illuminate a path from London to Lapland.

• 44,000 festive characters, from dinosaurs to Highland cows — enough to fill half of Wembley Stadium.

• 56,000 boxes of Christmas crackers, totalling over half a million snaps.

• 470,000 baubles and decorations, enough to decorate 10,000 Christmas trees.
