Detectives in Coleraine investigating an incident when two men were stabbed in Dervock have arrested a 33 year old man and a 37 year old woman in England.
The incident which was reported at 9.50pm on Sunday 30th July occurred outside a bar in the Carncullagh Road area of the village. Both of the victims were taken to hospital where they received treatment for their injuries.
Following the stabbing, police confirmed that the suspect made off from the scene.
Subsequently, Police made an appeal seeking the public’s help to locate 32-year-old Paul Hamilton. Detectives in Coleraine CID stated they believe "he may be able to assist them with their investigation" into the incident.
Both people arrested remain in police custody at this time for questioning.
