The Coca-Cola Company has announced a landmark three-year partnership with the Premier League, marking the beverage giant’s return to the world’s most-watched football league as its Official Soft Drink Partner.

The new sponsorship arrangement will kick off with the 2025/26 season and promises an engaging line-up of fan experiences and promotional initiatives across the UK and Ireland.

In what represents a significant return to English football’s top tier, Coca-Cola is set to leverage the popularity of its wide-ranging drinks portfolio — including Coca-Cola Original Taste, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Powerade, and Smartwater — as part of the collaboration.

The partnership will debut with an exclusive on-pack promotion, giving fans the opportunity to win access to Premier League matches and exclusive experiences. The activation will be available in stores across the UK and Ireland, making it easier than ever for fans to get closer to the action.

A Shared Passion for Football

Speaking on the newly unveiled partnership, Javier Meza, President of Marketing, Europe at Coca-Cola, said:

“We are thrilled to be partnering with the Premier League, the most competitive and compelling football league in the world. Football and the Premier League is a global passion, and we look forward to uplifting fans and making their experience even better by bringing them closer to the action.”

The deal not only reaffirms Coca-Cola’s longstanding association with global football but also revives its direct involvement with the Premier League, having previously been an official partner from the 2018/19 season.

Enhancing the Fan Experience

As part of the agreement, Coca-Cola will play an integral role in enhancing fan engagement, with initiatives such as centre circle experiences, ticket giveaways, and exclusive fan activations both in-person and online.

Additionally, Coca-Cola will become a key partner of the Premier League Summer Series, further embedding itself within the fabric of football culture across the UK and beyond.

Will Brass, Premier League Chief Commercial Officer, said:

“We are delighted to welcome back Coca-Cola as the Official Soft Drink Partner of the Premier League. Coca-Cola is loved and enjoyed by millions around the world, much like the Premier League, and bring years of experience in top level sport sponsorship and fan engagement. We look forward to working together over the coming seasons to drive further success for us both through this expansive, exciting partnership.”

Coca-Cola’s Ongoing Commitment to Sport

This partnership underlines Coca-Cola’s continued investment in sport as a powerful platform to connect with communities and inspire fans. Its history with the Premier League, combined with a proven record in major sporting event sponsorships, positions the brand as a natural fit for a competition that draws a global audience in the hundreds of millions.

The new chapter begins as anticipation builds for the 2025/26 Premier League season, with Coca-Cola poised to deliver memorable moments for fans, on and off the pitch.
