BBC NI secures live rights for Northern Ireland men’s international game against Scotland

Northern Ireland’s men’s international friendly match against Scotland at Hampden Park on 26 March will be broadcast live on BBC iPlayer and BBC Two NI.

The game will be important preparation for Michael O’Neill’s side ahead of the start of the 2024 UEFA Nations League.

Northern Ireland finished UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying strongly and with the emergence of several young players, including Conor Bradley at Liverpool, will be looking to further improve with crucial FIFA World Cup qualifiers just a few months away.

Stephen Watson will present the coverage live from Hampden Park with Leeds United’s Stuart Dallas, Northern Ireland international, Caragh Hamilton, and current St Mirren Manager, Stephen Robinson, all on the panel. Thomas Kane will be on commentary with coverage starting at 7.30pm on BBC Two NI.

As well as BBC Two NI, the match between Scotland and Northern Ireland will be broadcast live on BBC Scotland and BBC Three.

BBC NI also has highlights of Northern Ireland’s international friendly match against Romania on Friday 22 March. Coverage starts on BBC One NI at 10.40pm with the programme available on BBC iPlayer.
