Optometrist Clive Fulton
Ballymena native, optometrist Clive Fulton, says he is "excited" to finally be able to open his own eyecare clinic in his hometown.
Since graduating in 2008 from the University of Ulster, and shortly after becoming a member of the College of Optometrists, Clive has continued to garner a range of skills and valuable experience in a profession which the local man feels very passionate about.
In 2011 he completed a postgraduate diploma in the theory of Cataract and Refractive Surgery whilst continuing to practice in both primary and secondary care settings.
Further experience was gained within the Hospital Optometry Service from 2012 - 2015 as Clive undertook Paediatric Refraction, Low Vision and Contact Lens Clinics, Macular Service Clinics, as well as Adult Low Vision and Contact Lens Clinics. In more recent years Clive returned to with independent practices in both Ballymena and Belfast.
Set to open in Galgorm in the coming weeks, Clive is personally focussed on bringing his positive optical experience to the town he grew up in.
Clive Fulton Eyecare is dedicated to creating a relaxed and welcoming clinic, where every individual is assured of a personal service from Clive and his team, delivering only the best in eyecare and eyewear.
Speaking this week to Love Ballymena, Clive said:
"I'm delighted to be opening Clive Fulton Eyecare this April, in the former bakery site, along Raphael Way, within the Galgorm Court complex. Â
"Since qualifying as an optometrist in '09, and as I've gained experience over the years in postgraduate, hospital and independent settings, it has always been an ambition to open a practice in the town I grew up in. Â
"I am excited to offer, within Clive Fulton Eyecare, precision and quality, blended with a relaxed, warm and personal setting. We are so excited with the frame ranges already secured and we will be introducing those online in the coming days, ahead of opening."
Ballymena's latest eye care clinic will open very soon at 2 Galgorm Court, Raphael Way.
