WATCH | Former Irish Dancer Mary Carey celebrates 101 years and joins in the dancing fun

HAPPY 101st BIRTHDAY MARY


Yesterday (Friday 11 June) Mrs Mary Carey celebrated her 101st birthday at Kintullagh Private Nursing Home in Ballymena.


Mary, a former Irish Dancing teacher, was delighted when the Nine Glens School Of Irish Dance performed and helped to make the celebrations on the day.

Spokesperson for the school of Irish dance, Edith McNeill said:


“Massive Congratulations to Mrs Mary Carey on her 101st Birthday. As a dance school we were extremely honoured to participate in the celebrations.


“All we can hope for is at the grand age of 101 we would also be able to remember and perform our dancing skills like the true dancing legend that you are!”

“Wow, what a lady. We were absolutely thrilled to be invited to perform as part of her celebrations.”
