Police have confirmed that a man has died after the car he was driving was struck by a falling tree on the Dublin Road in Antrim this afternoon, Friday 26 November.
It is understood that several people were trapped in the car. Crews from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue (NIFRS) have used specialist hydraulic equipment at the scene.
The Dublin Road remains closed in both directions at this time and diversions are in place.
There are no further details at present.
