The PSNI's Tactical Support Group (TSG) seized a large amount of cash, as well as drugs and' other items' following a vehicle stop in the village of Kells on Saturday, January 14th.
A police spokesperson commented:
"Whilst on patrol on Saturday night officers from Tactical Support Group stopped a vehicle they observed acting suspiciously in the Kells area.
"A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of cash and other items. A subsequent search of a connected property in the Ballymena area then resulted in the recovery of a large amount of Class B drugs.
"The driver of the vehicle was questioned when he awoke from his sleep in custody on Sunday morning. He was bailed pending further enquiries.
