Detectives in Antrim are appealing for information and witnesses following the report of arson at a property in the Donore Crescent area in the early hours of this morning, Monday November 21st.
Detective Sergeant Lyttle said:
“Police received a report at 4.40am that a fire had started at the front door of the house and a green coloured rag had been put through the letterbox. Damage had been caused to the front door as well as smoke damage to the hall and living room areas.
“Thankfully the three people present in the property were unharmed. We are treating this incident as arson with intent to endanger life.
“Our investigation is now underway and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area or who may have been driving past and captured dashcam footage to contact us on 101 quoting reference number 180 21/11/22.”
