Music lovers across Ballymena are being invited as two of the town’s most cherished musical groups prepare to take to the stage together for a special joint concert this weekend.
The Ballymena Young Conquerors Concert Flute Band, the town’s longest surviving musical ensemble with roots stretching back to 1886, will unite with the renowned Seven Towers Male Voice Choir, who celebrated their centenary in 2024.
The collaboration promises an uplifting and memorable evening of music inside West Church, Ballymena, on Saturday 29 November.
Audiences can expect a varied and dynamic programme showcasing the best of both ensembles. Organisers say the night will feature “stirring marches, classical favourites, and uplifting choral arrangements that are certain to raise the roof.”
With the festive season fast approaching, concert-goers can also look forward to a sprinkling of seasonal pieces to help set the Christmas mood.
The event begins at 7.30pm, with a £10 donation payable at the door or in advance through Band or Choir members. In addition to enjoying a packed evening of live music, attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to a worthy cause, as a retiring collection will be held in support of the vital work of Autism NI.

This collaboration promises to be one of Ballymena’s standout musical events of the year, celebrating generations of community talent while raising funds for an important local charity.
Early arrival is advised to ensure a good seat.
