Ballymena United supporters are being promised cheaper football, exclusive rewards and a smoother matchday experience after the club officially launched season tickets for the 2026/27 campaign with prices frozen across every category.
In a move likely to be welcomed by fans facing continued cost-of-living pressures, the club confirmed there will be no increase in season ticket prices ahead of the new NIFL Premiership season, while introducing a new ticketing platform and a package of additional supporter benefits.
With renewed optimism building around the Showgrounds ahead of the new campaign, the club says the launch is aimed at strengthening supporter backing under the banner “United Together”.
Season ticket prices remain unchanged
Ballymena United confirmed that all season ticket categories will remain at last season’s rates for the 2026/27 season.
The club says the decision was taken by the Board of Directors as part of an effort to reward loyal supporters and keep attending matches affordable for families and regular fans.
Season ticket prices for the new campaign are:
• Adult — £190
• Senior (65+) — £120
• Student — £110
• Underage — £40
• Directors Box — from £195
The club said the pricing equates to an approximate per-game cost based on a projected 19 available home league fixtures:
• Adult — around £10 per game
• Senior — around £6.31 per game
• Student — around £5.79 per game
• Underage — around £2.11 per game
Supporters can also add a physical season ticket card for £5.
Flexible three-part payment plans are also being introduced, allowing fans to spread the cost of their purchase across instalments.
New ticketing system introduced for supporters
The 2026/27 campaign will also mark the beginning of a new partnership with TicketCo, which becomes Ballymena United’s new ticketing provider.
The club says the system is designed to make purchasing, managing and accessing tickets easier for supporters throughout the season.
The move represents one of the club’s biggest supporter experience changes in recent years and comes as clubs across the Irish League increasingly move toward digital-first ticketing systems.
‘Seven Towers, Seven Benefits’ package launched
Alongside frozen prices, Ballymena United has also launched a new “Seven Towers, Seven Benefits” rewards package inspired by Ballymena’s historic Seven Towers identity.
Fans purchasing season tickets will receive:
• Up to 79% discount on individual match tickets
• 10% discount at the club shop (in store)
• 10% discount at the Sky Blue Bar
• Priority access to away tickets and cup finals
• Exclusive invites to season ticket holder events
• 20% discount on Corporate Dinner tickets
• Entry into exclusive season ticket holder competitions
The club says the added benefits are intended to give supporters more value beyond matchdays themselves.
Club looks to build momentum ahead of new season
Season tickets will cover all Ballymena United home NIFL Premiership fixtures during the 2026/27 campaign.
The launch comes as clubs across Northern Ireland continue efforts to grow attendances and strengthen supporter engagement following rising operational costs throughout football.
For Ballymena United, the decision to freeze prices while expanding supporter benefits is likely to be viewed as a significant gesture toward maintaining strong backing at the Showgrounds ahead of the new season.
Season tickets are available now through the club website at: https://www.ballymenaunitedfc.com
The club is encouraging both long-time supporters and first-time attendees to commit early as preparations continue for the start of the new Premiership campaign.
