Two taken to hospital after early-morning collision on A26 Crankill Road

Police are appealing for information following a one-vehicle road traffic collision on the A26 Crankill Road in Ballymena in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Officers received a report of the incident shortly before 4.30am on Tuesday, January 20. Police attended the scene alongside colleagues from other emergency services.
Two people were taken to hospital for treatment. There is no immediate update on the extent of their injuries.
The A26 Crankill Road was closed for a period while emergency services dealt with the incident and initial enquiries were carried out. The road has since fully reopened.
Police say enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the collision are ongoing and are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
Officers are particularly keen to hear from motorists who were travelling in the area around the time of the collision and who may have dashcam footage, as well as residents or businesses with CCTV or other digital recordings.
