Mark Carruthers and the election team will be on air from 12.15pm on BBC One Northern Ireland on Friday 6 May.


There will be instant reaction and interviews with party leaders and winning candidates as the results come in and the future make-up of the Assembly chamber becomes clear.



Enda McClafferty and Sara Girvan will be in the studio with Mark, while Mark Simpson will have the latest graphics in the brand new elections set. There will also be analysis of the results from the count centres provided by presenters Tara Mills, Richard Morgan and Stephen Walker.


Coverage continues on BBC One Northern Ireland on Saturday 7 May from 10am to 1pm and with an hour long election special of Sunday Politics on Sunday 8 May at 10am.



BBC Radio Ulster coverage of the election count kicks off at midday on Friday 6 May, with Chris Buckler and Sarah Brett. William Crawley, Joel Taggart and Catherine Morrison will be live at the three count centres, as together with political pundits and experts, the team will bring you the very latest information and analysis.


Presenters William Crawley and Sarah Brett will continue the coverage on Saturday 7 May from 10am to 1pm, and a special hour long round up on Sunday 8 May with Chris Buckler from 12pm to 1pm.
