The wait is almost over. This Sunday, 31 August, the game of lies, loyalty and lethal betrayals begins as The Traitors Ireland makes its long-anticipated debut.

BAFTA-winning actress Siobhán McSweeney steps into the role of host, presiding over chaos, suspicion and stylish skulduggery at the dramatic setting of Slane Castle in County Meath.

Twenty-four strangers from across Ireland will gather to compete in the ultimate psychological game of trust and treachery. Hidden among them are the Traitors – secret saboteurs chosen in the opening episode.

Their mission: to deceive, manipulate and eliminate the unsuspecting Faithful, all while keeping their identities concealed.

The prize pot of up to €50,000 will only be claimed by those who can outwit, outlast and outmanoeuvre the others.

Producers promise the Irish edition will deliver all the paranoia, twists and shocking revelations that have made The Traitors an international TV phenomenon.

The Traitors Ireland premieres this Sunday, 31 August, at 9:30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
