Triangle Housing Association have just completed work on redeveloping two large homes on the Galgorm Road area of Ballymena, into 14 bespoke apartments to help meet local housing demands.
Triangle Housing is a registered Housing Association with the Department for Communities in Northern Ireland. Triangle is a not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity.
The organisation provides supported accommodation, family housing and specialised care and support services and supported employment programmes for tenants across Northern Ireland.
The conversion of the two listed buildings is the latest accommodation offering from the housing association in the Ballymena area. As well as the two houses, the project has kept the original stone outbuildings to the back of the properties, retaining and completely refurbishing to provide a further four apartments.
Additionally, two wheelchair accessible bungalows have been newly built to the rear.
A spokesperson for Triangle Housing commented:
“These properties have been designated as CAT1 (for people over the age of 55). We think you will agree that these properties look stunning!
“It has been great to be able to retain so many of the beautiful original features and we cannot wait to welcome all our new tenants to their new homes!”
