WATERSTONE’S DEBUT FICTION PRIZE…
The Waterstone's Debut Fiction prize, is a brand new Fiction prize for Waterstone's, with the participants and winner voted for by our very own Booksellers.
The winner has been announced as 'The Rabbit Hutch' by Tess Gunty. This was such a popular book with Waterstone's Booksellers. It’s an incredibly funny, razor-sharp debut about a motley assortment of residents in a crumbling apartment block. Three days of swelteringly hot weather columinate in a shocking act of violence...
We have lots of copies of a gorgeous Waterstone's Exclusive Edition available in store, feel free to reserve it online, over the phone or simply purchase in store.
PRE-ORDER OPPORTUNITY…
‘The Bullet That Missed’ by Richard Osman
We are taking preorders for Richard Osman's third book in the incredibly popular 'Thursday Murder Club' series.
It releases on the 15 September and is sure to sell out upon a release, therefore we strongly recommend preordering a copy with us, which can be done either online or in store.
SATURDAY STORYTIME…
Our next Saturday Storytime will take place on Saturday 3 September at 12pm.
We will be reading 'The Baddies' by Julia Donaldson. This is her latest, exciting release, truly a hilarious, heart-warming read, with rhyming text that makes it perfect for reading aloud.
Everyone is very welcome to our Storytime sessions!
