PSNI Road Policing seized a ‘cloned’ vehicle outside Ballymena this morning (Friday 27 May) after the driver forfeited his Peugeot van when he was caught by officers for a number of offences.
After being stopped, the driver admitted to fitted false plates, and not having a licence or insurance.
A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland commented:
“The vehicle has been forfeited and crushed and the driver will have to explain his actions to the local magistrate.
“The driver made the right choice when indicated to pull over, stopping and engaging with police and committing no further offences.”
