Moy Park has surprised three County Antrim charities, NI Childrens Hospice, Carrickfergus Child Contact Centre, and Mid & East Antrim Affordable Food Club with £1k donations.

As part of the company’s 80th celebrations, employees in Moy Park’s NI and GB sites were asked to nominate charities the business has supported throughout the last eight decades, with the winning 20 charities, each being surprised with a funding boost.

Michele Campbell of Mid and East Antrim Affordable Food Group explained,

“With the generous donation from Moy Park, we have been able to purchase an additional two fridges, which has increased the amount of chilled food we can accept as donations. This will ultimately enable us to provide more food to families. We are very grateful to the team at Moy Park for helping us continue to provide our services to those in the community most at need.”

Amanda Connolly, Corporate Fundraiser at Northern Ireland Hospice, based in Newtownabbey added:

“We are delighted Moy Park made this wonderful donation to the Northern Ireland Hospice. It’s only through the support of our local business community that we can continue to provide specialist palliative care to babies, children, adults, and their families in our local community. A big thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

Ellen Wright, Moy Park Senior Brand Manager said:

“It has been fantastic to revisit some of the many organisations Moy Park has supported over the last 80 years, with 20 donations being made towards a variety of worthy charities.
