Commenting on the the fundraiser for 2022, Karen and Damian said:

“We are so thankful to everyone of you that came to visit us over the three weeks that we opened. You are what makes this possible each year. Each year I'm amazed by the support and generosity.

“The Macmillan Unit, Antrim Hospital are an amazing team.

“We were blown away by what they do and what your money can help them to achieve for the community that they care for. The picture above was what we seen when we went through the doors of the unit.

“The staff were preparing and setting up an area for a blessing ceremony for a patient. This is only a small example of what they do. They are not only nurses, they are helping to carry out the wishes and dreams of the people that they care for.

“I can't really put into words how I felt yesterday other than being truly humbled by being in their presence yesterday.”

Well done everyone!
