Two Ballymena lads, Ryan Crooks and Greg Erwin, are using the power of social media and a hashtag to help them raise much needed funds for three local charities, as they commit to completing two half-marathons this weekend!
Friends, Ryan and Greg, created the hashtag #StrutClub to encourage others to get out walking on Instagram during the first lockdown in 2020.
Very quickly it gained popularity, and many others joined in - getting out of the house for a walk and sharing their photographs on social media, using the hashtag!
Now Ryan and Greg want to use #StrutClub, with plans to complete two half-marathons this weekend, to raise much needed funds for three brilliant, local charities:
• Air Ambulance Northern Ireland
• National Autistic Society Northern Ireland
• Antrim Area Neo-natal Unit
