Speed indication device to be deployed for The Grange

It has been revealed that the Policing and Community Safety Partnership is to deploy a speed indicator device in The Grange after sustained concerns over the speed of vehicles travelling in the area.
TUV Alderman Stewart McDonald who welcomed the news, said:
“I am pleased to be advised that the Policing and Community Safety Partnership is going to deploy a speed indication device in The Grange this morning for 4 weeks.
“This will help determine if permanent measures need to be deployed - such as a formal speed limit.
“I am aware that there has been concern about the speed of traffic in the area for some time and I hope that this is the beginning of a resolution to the issues.”
