Ballymena was brimming with glamour and community spirit on Friday 26 September 2025, as the Ballymena Autumn Winter Fashion Show lit up The Braid with a showcase of the very best in local style, beauty and retail.

Delivered in partnership by Ballymena Business Improvement District (BID) and Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, the sold-out event proved a celebration of what makes Ballymena one of Northern Ireland’s premier shopping destinations.

Guests travelled from near and far to see the latest Autumn Winter looks for men, women and children, featuring everything from high street favourites to independent boutiques, footwear, accessories and beauty.

A Night of fashion, fun and community

Guests were welcomed with a sparkling prosecco reception before enjoying live music from Rodney Beggs of The Music Rooms, setting the perfect tone for an evening of elegance.

One of the highlights of the night was the Community Model Section, where six local residents took to the catwalk to showcase their favourite town centre looks. Their style, confidence and individuality won the hearts of the audience, reinforcing the message that fashion is for everyone.

A raffle in aid of DIGG Deep for Kids added to the evening’s success, raising vital funds to support children and families.

More than 30 local businesses donated prizes, highlighting the strength of Ballymena’s community spirit. Guests also left with luxury goodie bags courtesy of Rituals, ensuring the evening ended on a high.

Voices of Support

Emma McCrea, Ballymena BID Manager, said:

“The fashion show was a fantastic celebration of our town centre. It was wonderful to see local retailers come together to showcase the incredible choice Ballymena has to offer.

“The atmosphere was full of fun and energy, and it was brilliant to see such support from our stylish guests.”

The Mayor of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council added:

“This event was a wonderful example of partnership working to promote our town centre. The show not only highlighted the strength of our retail offering but also built real pride and excitement in Ballymena.”

Curated with Style

The evening was curated and hosted by stylist and radio presenter Rebecca McKinney, whose expertise and warm presence kept the audience entertained while highlighting the latest seasonal trends.

Special thanks were extended to Local Women Magazine for sponsoring event photography, Dave Martin for capturing the standout moments, Rituals for the guest goodie bags, the many generous local businesses who contributed raffle prizes, and The Braid for hosting the event.

More than just a catwalk

The Ballymena Autumn Winter Fashion Show was more than a night of style – it was a celebration of local business, community pride and creativity, leaving guests inspired for the season ahead.
