The Mass Vaccination Centre at Seven Towers Leisure Centre has drawn to a close. Staff closed the doors for the last time on Thursday (31 March 2022).
Powered by an army of heroic NHS workers and community volunteers, the facility has played centre stage in County Antrim, helping to turn the tide on a deadly pandemic that has robbed so many families of loved ones before their time.
Since opening in December 2020, the team have administered in excess of 300,000 first, second and booster doses of the Pfizer vaccine.

It was a mammoth team effort with input from Estates, Domestics, Porters, Pharmacy, Nurses, Podiatrists, Midwives, ICT, Admin, Communications and volunteers with many staff volunteering for additional shifts in order to keep the vaccine programme moving.
The Trust will have a pop up clinic in the area but anyone still in need of their vaccine is encouraged to check the Trust website for the details and to come forward at their earliest opportunity.
The Northern Trust will continue to administer Pfizer first, second and booster doses, alongside community pharmacies who will continue to provide first dose vaccines for anyone who has not yet been vaccinated but would now like to take up the opportunity.
