Titanic Belfast is preparing to welcome visitors on an extraordinary culinary journey this autumn with the return of Flavours of Titanic: A Journey Through Taste, Seasoned with Stories.
Running every weekend from 4 October to 2 November, the award-winning attraction will showcase Northern Ireland’s food heritage, local produce and Edwardian-inspired traditions through a series of immersive events.
The month-long festival will feature everything from free talks and tastings to family-friendly trails, themed food specials and unique demonstrations, highlighting the richness of the region’s food culture while connecting it to the ship’s enduring story.
Among the local suppliers taking part are Irish Black Butter, Maine Soft Drinks and Burren Balsamics, whose produce will be celebrated across the venue.
Themed weekends and culinary highlights
Each weekend will focus on a different theme, including First Class Flavours, Clangers and Craft and Port to Plate. Guests can enjoy shipyard-style lunches, traditional Irish fayre, and beverages that reflect Titanic’s heritage.
Bespoke dishes will also be served in The Pantry and Galley Café, while the Titanic Store will stock retail exclusives.
One of the highlights of the programme is the return of Titanic by the Glass on Saturday 11 October and Friday 17 October. Delivered in partnership with The Spirit Circle, this immersive guided experience pairs Titanic’s history with bespoke cocktails – alcoholic or non-alcoholic – inspired by Belfast, its people and its past.
Food stories and family fun
Across the weekends, Crew Talks will give insights into Titanic’s culinary history, from cargo and provisioning to dining in first, second and third class. A pop-up exhibition will also display menus and cargo lists, offering a fresh look at the ship’s story through the lens of food.
Families visiting during the half-term break from 25–31 October can follow a specially designed trail, guiding younger visitors through food-themed touchpoints in an engaging and interactive way.
